Where do you need to develop self-control? The discipline you establish today will determine your success tomorrow. But it takes more than will power for lasting self control. It takes a power greater than yourself.

God has not given as the spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

~ 2 Timothy 1:7

Succeeding Through Self Discipline (Key Three)11.21.06

Sorry for the long delay, here’s the next entry on your way to success through self discipline, which was the continutation of my previous post about watching your words.

Key Three: Successful people restrain their reaction.

How much can you take before you loose your cool? Try to take a deep breath before anything else…or try counting.

If you are sensible, you will control your temper. When someone wrongs you, it is a great virtue to ignore it.
